Reception - Saplings
A Sapling is a young tree, raring to grow big and tall, like the trees that surround them. Much like the children in this class, who will be given the education, experiences and support they need to grow and be successful.
Year 1 - Willow
Willows grow with strength and good health, which is how the children will grow in Willow class. Strong, resilient learners will combat the challenges they face and strive to achieve their full potential.
Year 2 Chestnut
Chestnuts are a tree of fun, strength and magic, that produce spiky outer shells that open up to discover a new shiny new creation.
Year 3 - Maple
Although they are sugary and sweet, a Maple tree is also strong, tall and full of life, adapting to the seasons. Children in Maple class will learn how to grow, thrive, and adapt, just like the tree they are named after. With strength, resilience, and curiosity, they will embrace each new season of learning, developing the skills and knowledge to flourish in every aspect of their education.
Year 4 Blossom
Blossom trees represent new beginnings, hope, and beauty. As their branches bloom with color, they fill the space with a sense of joy, renewal, and gentle wonder.
RSP - The Grove
The Grove is a Resource Specialist Provision (RSP) for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The class is a key part of our Academy where children with an EHCP will receive a bespoke curriculum based on their needs and will integrate into the mainstream classes and part of their transition at a pace that is tailored for each individual. Those requiring a place in The Grove will go through the Local Authority and their EHCP consultant..
